Augie & the Gang tackle Insulation of the Founders Car House

The crew started on the track 11 wall with stringers spaced on 4' centers.

 

They moved the effort to Track 13 a couple days later and placed stringers from the rear of the building up to pole #7.  At pole #7 the events/volunteer room addition starts and already provides insulaton.


Insulation bats were next placed on the walls and above on the underside of the roof.

Back on track 11 this is what the bats looked like as work progressed.
The next thing to show is the building the insulation all filled in.  Yes, the light panels are being covered as part of this work.
Turns out I didn't take any pictures after this point.

Trolley Street Construction during holiday break

I took the above photo showing the steel poles after they were set by Kevin, Jeff, Michael and Larry.  
 January 2 the gang was back with the addition of George G.  They placed the concrete in the holes that will help keep the poles in place.
